Heritage apple Project

Edgbaston Guinea Gardens has a rich content of heritage apple trees - some dating back as far as the 17th century.
Birmingham Trees For Life has undertaken a project with the guinea gardens to identify these apple trees.
In addition they have funded the creation of a Heritage Apple Orchard on one of the plots. This was established in March 2008.
